There is something a little ironic happening right now.
We live in the most technologically advanced time in human history… and yet technology has quietly removed the need for the old technology-based business model.
For years, the model was simple:
Create information.
Lock it behind a paywall.
Sell access.
Platforms like Podia, Kajabi, Teachable, and others were built around that idea — that information itself had value.
But that world is gone.
Today, anyone can open an AI window and ask:
“How do I manage my anger?”
“How do I improve my relationships?”
“How do I build confidence?”
“How do I stop self-sabotage?”
And within seconds they will receive a thoughtful, structured answer that often puts many traditional courses to shame.
So if information is now instantly available to everyone…
what exactly are people paying for?
They are paying for implementation and transformation.
They are paying for:
• Accountability
• Guidance
• Perspective
• Experience
• Wisdom
• Objective feedback from someone who has walked the path before them
Information alone does not change lives.
People change when someone helps them apply the information, stay accountable to it, and see the blind spots they cannot see themselves.
That is where the real value lives now.
This is why I tell people starting programs today something that may surprise them:
Do not obsess over building a paywall.
You do not need to hide your core content behind expensive platforms.
In fact, I encourage the opposite.
Put the core ideas out there.
Publish them.
Email them.
Share them openly.
Your content is not the product.
You are the product.
Your insight.
Your lived experience.
Your ability to guide someone through change.
That is what people will always pay for.
And that is the foundation of the Launch Program.
You've launched! Now what?
