Stress and your Breath are connected! 
As simple as learning to breathe differently will change your stress levels!

Breathe in for a count of 4
Breathe out for a count of 8

Simply making your exhale twice as long as your inhale -your body will relax!  It's a bio-medical fact! 
Once your body relaxes, your thoughts tend to follow suit and relax down too.
After you calm your thoughts your emotions will settle down too.
